We have accumulated a vast experience with the treatment of hemorrhoids with the Co2 laser. We have used this technique since 1986 and have performed thousands of cases with the laser in rectal surgery. Our experience is that the Co2 laser makes a more precise surgery with less pain and less scarring, and we are very satisfied with the results. The laser can be used in the office for less severe cases with local anesthesia or in the operating room with general anesthesia for the severe cases.
