Hemorrhoids treatment

Laser Surgery

We have accumulated a vast experience with the treatment of hemorrhoids with the Co2 laser. We have used this technique since 1986 and have performed thousands of cases with the laser in rectal surgery. Our experience is that the Co2 laser makes a more precise surgery with less pain and less scarring, and we are very satisfied with the results. The laser can be used in the office for less severe cases with local anesthesia or in the operating room with general anesthesia for the severe cases.

Rubber Band Ligation

This is a procedure primarily directed to treat early internal hemorrhoidal disease. It is an office procedure and is generally painless. It usually requires a few treatments. After the procedure the patient can continue with his/her normal routine.

Infrared Coagulator

This is another form of treatment for internal hemorrhoids. It consists of coagulating the internal hemorrhoids with an infrared beam. It is also typically painless and the patient can continue with his/her usual activities. It usually requires a few treatments and is directed at early stages of hemorrhoidal disease.
